Poetry Oasis and You Poetry that Cannot be Defined
Poetry is a lot of things to a lot of people. "When I read a book and it makes me feel good all over my body I know that is poetry." the poet uses everyday words to inspire just like the Artist uses paint to bring out the masterpiece on his canvas, poetry cannot be defined. There are as many definitions of poetry as there are of poets. For example, William Wordsworth defined poetry as "the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings. Yes, Longfellow was one of my favourite poets. Poetry can make you laugh or cry or yawn, it can make your whole body shiver while doing nothing." Some poet Carefully select words for conciseness and clarity is standard, but sometimes poets go well beyond this, consider such poem another of my favourite The Charge of the Light Brigade” word's emotive qualities, its backstory, its musical rhythm, tone of destruction, and even its spatial relationship to world events. The poet Longfellow through innovation in both word choice and form seemingly rends significance from thin air Some poets use gesture to narrate, describe, argue, or define. To the novice, there are equally numerous reasons for writing poetry. But poetry, unlike prose, often has an underlying and overarching purpose that goes beyond the literal. Poetry is evocative. It typically provokes in the reader an intense emotion: joy, sorrow, anger, catharsis, love, etc. Poetry can surprise the reader with an unexpected twist creating an unforgettable experience giving revelation, insight, and further understanding of elemental truth and beauty. Like the poet Kenvil Atkins Lewis's poem Natural Mystic” the relevant message in his composition is all the beauty, truth wisdom of a real world and that is all one needs to know."
Poetry can come out as old, frail, new, and cerebral. Is stronger and fresher than you think. The poet's imagination will break those chains faster than you can say "Play it again Sam." What motivates people to keep writing poetry well I would venture to say it is much faster to come to life than the best-written novel the writer are just the first ones to have the satisfaction of simplicity on paper as they're putting the words on the page (and revising them). Ridden and Rhyme Writing in form doesn't just mean that you need to pick the right words but that you need to have correct rhythm (prescribed stressed and unstressed syllables), follow a rhyming scheme (alternate lines rhyme or consecutive lines rhyme), or use a refrain or repeated line. Rhythm and Riddim is part of poetry you may have heard about writing a prize-winning poem but don't be intimidated by the jargon, one stressed and one unstressed syllable makes for beauty or dullness of the rhythm, For example, look at this line from Kenvil’s poem Near the House Where Safe Lives” which has the repeating chorus of vibrant syllables bonded: Kenvil is a master at emotional ups and downs. Not all poets use the Rhyme scheme. Many set forms follow a particular pattern to their rhyming. When analyzing a rhyme scheme, lines are labeled with letters to note what ending of each rhymes with which other. The casing point takes this verse from one of Kenvil Atkins Lewis's 13 love poems, Molina With The Big Round Eyes” this poet takes you into a dream like state as if you are the one sitting there.
Poetry Oasis Connection
MOLINA'S BIG ROUND EYES Sitting in the third row my eyes beheld your beauty fair The ringing of the class bell awakens my dreamlike state Black poison eyes hair as silk as the spider web of deception I thought you walked on air as your shadow balance perfection School days were happy days indeed when love unfolds rejections My love for you was at a distance afraid to profess my desire You saw me as a coward too afraid to speak my love you did not admire The first- and third-lines rhyme, and the second, fourth, and sixth lines rhyme, which means it has not only rhythm but ridden many of the lines because they rhyme on alternating lines with a smooth ride that flows on and on and on.
